Respect London was set up to implement the findings from a study 'the new vision for business', set up by Tony Blair and sponsored by, BT, Nat West, Unipart, Body Shop, Wessex Water, Tesco and BP with the aim of integrating social and environmental policy within organisations. He was previously Chief Executive of the Management Charter Initiative. He is a leading authority on business management, managing change, new economics, governance and leadership. He has written numerous management books, has a regular column in The Guardian, broadcasts on TV and radio, and contributes to international newspapers and magazines. He was Director of Manchester Business School and has acted as a consultant to organisations including Virgin and IBM.
