After Dinner Speakers: Nik Kershaw, Mick Jagger, Mark Shuttleworth
Nicholas David Kershaw was born in Bristol in 1958 and joined his first band Half Pint Hogg aged 16, the repertoire was exclusively Deep Purple Cover Versions.
As an iconic solo artist in the 1980s, Nik had several unique hit singles including I won’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, Wouldn’t It Be Good and The Riddle.
After leaving the scene as a singer, Nik wrote hits for Boyzone and the huge selling The One and Only for Chesney Hawkes.
Nik has maintained a small output of his own recordings but mainly concentrates on his skills as a writer and record producer.
