Les Dennis is acknowledged as one of Britain's most popular entertainers. He is well known to TV viewers as the host of top ITV show ‘Family Fortunes’ and the ITV primetime entertainment show ‘Give Your Mate A Break’. Les has also hosted his own prime-time BBC TV series ‘The Les Dennis Laughter Show’.
As well as achieving household name status as an entertainment host and comedian, Les is also a prolific actor having made his big screen debut in the film ‘Intimate Relations’ with Julie Walters and Rupert Graves in 1997. His theatre credits include ‘Me & My Girl’ (Adelphi), ‘Don't Dress for Dinner’ (tour), ‘Skylight’ (Watermill), ‘Mr Wonderful’ (Chester) and he recently returned to the West End stage for a season as Amos Heart in the award winning hit musical ‘Chicago’ at the Adelphi.
On TV he was the voice of ‘The Fool’ in Channel 4's animation ‘The Wyrd Sisters’. He recently appeared in Channel 5's soap ‘Family Affairs’ plus he has presented special features for ‘Wish You Were Here’ and had guest roles in ‘The Grimleys’ and ‘The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer’.
Born and brought up in Liverpool and married to actress Amanda Holden, Les has a flexible, familiar, upbeat voice and a warm, naturally funny personality. Les is always a great success and guarantees quality entertainment when he speaks or performs stand-up at corporate events.
