After Dinner Speakers: Ian McShane, David Dickinson, Clint Eastwood
Ian McShane's career has certainly taken him far and wide since it began in the 1960's. From the auction rooms frequented by Lovejoy, to the ranches of Dallas, to Spain for a recent role in British gangster movie Sexy Beast, and to the glamorous law offices of Cooper-Fozard in the recent BBC drama, Trust.
RADA trained Ian's career began in the theatre, but his first film role came in 1962 when he starred in The Wild and the Willing, which also featured John Hurt and Johnny Briggs. Ian's prolific film and TV career has also included roles in many classic mini-series. Parts in Roots, Jesus of Nazareth and the title role in Disraeli are just the tip of the iceberg.
A star with true longevity, Ian is as convincing at live events as he is in his many wonderful roles.
