Well-known for his campaigning consumer journalism, Gavin has many years of experience as a BBC television and radio reporter, presenter and announcer. He became one of Britain’s best-known TV consumer champions on ‘That’s Life!’ which he co-presented between 1982 and 1994. Since 1994 Gavin has also been the regular presenter for the BBC charity and appeals programme ‘Lifeline’, which focuses on work with poor and disabled children in Britain and the Third World. On radio, Gavin has presented for Radio Five Live and LBC News.
