She has also written three non-fiction books about her voyages across the oceans of the world. She has been published in 21 countries and translated into 19 languages. Clare is the incoming Chairman of the Society of Authors. Her interests are theatre and opera. Her latest book, A DARK DEVOTION is released in Australia in May, 1998. DECEIT, BETRAYAL and A DARK DEVOTION will be adapted for television by the BBC. The first in the series, DECEIT will screen later this year.
